Website Improvement Survey 2015: Our Second Year!
We received a bunch of great suggestions in the 2014 Website Improvement Survey.
We were very impressed and excited to have received so many great suggestions and fantastic feedback, and the data from the survey was extremely helpful. That's why we're hoping to get more feedback from the 2015 Website Improvement Survey!

Below we have organized the suggestions based on category.
Take a look at the legend to the left to learn more about the stages each suggestion is in. Our new goal is to finish the suggestions below by December 31st, 2015.
Suggestions

Website Building Suggestions
1.  Try to reduce content / shorten pages where possible  - Started
2. There is lot of scope in india to help the needy children in schools whose parents can't afford. Scope should be increased from widow's children to needy children who have parents that are below poverty line. - In Progress
Design & Layout Suggestions
1. Update / reorganize navigation for better access and aesthetics - Planned (indirect suggestion)
Media Suggestions
1. Make a "Thank You" video. This video will not be thank you from website or/ Shukrana Organization but from kids who got help from Shukrana Organization to study and make their life better with knowledge. Kids in India or where they are saying thank you for help and describing what this help means to them in their own way and words in their own language. You can put subtitle to it. - Started
2. Spread the word in any way possible. Perhaps contact media/local papers? - In Progress
3. Shorten the intro video's credits and update the video  - Finished
Help Out Section Suggestions
1.  Think about meeting fundraisers or donators [or other people who have helped the charity] around the world [and do a video, article or other publicity event on the website] - Planned
2. For real exposure, people should come and visit schools in Delhi and Punjab and other states of India [and then post your work there on the website so more people can be aware of the work you do, and help build your travel volunteering interest]. - Planned

2. Make the Kids Section easier to understand for younger audiences - Started
About Section Suggestions
1. Make the "People Helped" and "Projects" pages easier to find - Planned (this suggestion was given indirectly - many respondents suggested adding a page with people helped/our projects, because they were unable to find those two pages on the website.)
