There are many reasons why you should donate or fundraise for Shukrana.
1. Donating to the Shukrana Foundation will contribute to ending the cycle of poverty. By donating to a cause that supports education, you are helping kids pick up life skills and education that will allow them to break out of the cycle of poverty. 2. We are an honest, Canadian family charity. We are a small Canadian charity run by a very small staff, and we do not have any paid employees. When you donate to Shukrana, you can be assured that 80 to 95% of donations go to the intended recipients. The other 20 to 5% is sometimes used to pay for expenses such as travelling costs so our volunteers can visit India to put the donations to good use.
3. Donating or fundraising for Shukrana is a GREAT experience! We offer fundraising tools, many great ways to contact us, forums to discuss your ideas, the opportunity to be featured on our website and much more!
