TIMELINE
2015
March 2015: Darshan and Harbhajan Arora travelled to India to deliver money to schools such as the Sri Guru Harkrishan Model School to help children (and many children of widows) continue their education. The amount of rupees given to each school: 20,000 rupees to Guru Harkrishan Model School (New Delhi - for four scholarships to girls) + donated 2 laptops (very special thank you and recognition for Bhajan Shoan, who donated these laptops) for the computer room at the school
50,000 rupees to Government Senior Secondary School Multipurpose (Ludhiana) for distribution to/ten scholarships to students who obtained over 87% marks in grade 10/11/12.
50,000 rupees to Dr. Ambedkar Welfare Society for helping underprivileged children or students in rural areas. (1200 to each student, to help 42 children)
8,000 rupees to Government Senior Secondary School to a deserving student who was going to join a college to join the army. (he is a widow's son). To help him go to college so he could get into the army.
May 2015: We donated $5000.00 to CWEF (Canadian World Education Foundation). We also donated $960 in May to Nishkam Sikh Welfare Organization (a Canadian charity helping underprivileged children go to school in India).
May 2015: We donated in May 500+550, +200 (thank you N. Khandaker for your donation!) – total $1,250.00 to Red Cross for help to Nepal earthquake victims. $50 of this total was from the fundraising work of Sammy, Sinead, Scout and Jasmine.
August 2015: We are sponsoring 212 widow children for the 2015-16 school year, from 21 different schools (14 through the Dr. Ambedkar Society). We are forwarding a $19,000.00 cheque to CWEF for sponsorship of children above.
August 2015: We donated $500 to the Pinglewara Society, who looks after abandoned/disabled children, providing shelter, food, medical help and some education.

September 2014: We donated $10,000 to the Canadian World Education Foundation, financially supporting 111 children of widows who are earning meagre income.
September 2014: We donated $500 to Pinglewara (Indian charity helping physically and mentally disabled people) during September. We also donated $1,000 to Akal Academy (registered Canadian charity), which helps underprivileged school children with their education.
September 2014: We donated $300 to Solidarity in Action to provide help for schools in rural areas of Peru for improvement and updates to school building structure.
October 2014: We donated $500 to Ontario Vipassana Foundation - they have a meditation centre near Barrie, Ontario, Canada which can accommodate about 100 students who can stay there and meditate for 10 days or over without charge.
December 2014: We donated $1,000 to Free the Children, who provides education for children in countries all around the world. The money is going to be used in their work in India.
