Scout Collins has been passionate about getting kids involved in charity and helping others since the Shukrana Foundation was founded (since she was only 12 herself when she started helping here). She has done fundraising events like bake sales with kids, which have raised over $4000. In 2018, she wanted to reach more children through a one-day camp that empowers kids of all ages to become volunteers and change-makers. After the success of the 2018 & 2019 camps, Shukrana is now running a third camp in 2023.
Kids can do a LOT more than just donating money, and Shukrana's One-Day Charity Camp is here for kids to learn, and to teach others, about how to make the world a better place through the arts, community and teamwork. Scout has a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies, 10 years of childcare experience, 8 years of tutoring experience, and 8 years of experience working with kids on fundraising projects. |
